Well hello everyone. I had first always cleaned my car, even when I couldnt drive it when my grandmother had left it to me in her will. The day I got my license I was ecstatic to say the least. So after discovering autopia, then this community, Im more than a little obsessed....
My car was in BAD condition.
Washed with megs gold class
I proceded to clay it with megs clay kit, good deal as it comes with 2 bars, lube, and a nice MF towel for $10 locally.
There was no needed process of gradual polishing on this one, went straight to XMT3 via yellow. This car ate 2 yellow pads. Pretty much all panels required 10-15 lbs of pressure recommended by Pinnacle.
Then went over xmt2 via orange and xmt1 via white. and toped with pinnacle XMT glaze.
PICS, In evolutionary order from bad to good
scary! :X
Half n Half
gettin there!
DONE!
My favorite:
Final Notes: Pinnacle XMT products bring power to dual action polisher users once again. These polishes when worked in correctly and with the right pressure, produce simply amazing results. This is as clase as you can get to a rotary finish, if not better in some cases.
Also dont work in too fast. Work a 2' x 2' area on speed 5 slowly with pressure untill the polish is pretty much clear. If it dusts escessively, youve gone too far. Justin actually told me on autopia about this process, and boy did I see some results.
