Well hello everyone. I had first always cleaned my car, even when I couldnt drive it when my grandmother had left it to me in her will. The day I got my license I was ecstatic to say the least. So after discovering autopia, then this community, Im more than a little obsessed....

My car was in BAD condition.

Washed with megs gold class

I proceded to clay it with megs clay kit, good deal as it comes with 2 bars, lube, and a nice MF towel for $10 locally.

There was no needed process of gradual polishing on this one, went straight to XMT3 via yellow. This car ate 2 yellow pads. Pretty much all panels required 10-15 lbs of pressure recommended by Pinnacle.

Then went over xmt2 via orange and xmt1 via white. and toped with pinnacle XMT glaze.

PICS, In evolutionary order from bad to good :)
scary! :X

Final Notes: Pinnacle XMT products bring power to dual action polisher users once again. These polishes when worked in correctly and with the right pressure, produce simply amazing results. This is as clase as you can get to a rotary finish, if not better in some cases.

Also dont work in too fast. Work a 2' x 2' area on speed 5 slowly with pressure untill the polish is pretty much clear. If it dusts escessively, youve gone too far. Justin actually told me on autopia about this process, and boy did I see some results.

WIl lanswer any questions :)

Looks good man. If you think those swirls are scary, just WAIT until you have been in the biz for a little longer. :) Also, did you put anything on top of the glaze? If not, you are going to need to reapply and then put something on top. Glaze has no protective properties and it will wash away quickly. For that color I would pick Souveran (if you can afford it) or Max Wax or Natty's Blue.

Great job, don't you just love XMT products. Like abrcrombe said Top it with Souveran!

You did a nice job. If you live in an area where winter is around the corner IMHO drop the carnauba and stick with a good sealant for the winter months.

Once you top a durable product like sealant with caranuba you wont be able to apply another layer of sealant..if you live somewhere in a warmer climent and have a chance to apply wax every 4-6 weeks then i say go for it..

Im in Tampa, bring on cool days and no rain :D Carnuba heaven :D I will probably go for some maxwax or nattys blue. I know DP helps autogek out, so I will probably stick to their product to top some duragloss 105 ;)

And thank you everyone for your compliments on my work. Only being 17 and hearing this from pros means alot.

So the debate? Maxwax vs. Nattys Blue

You did a great job..no matter what you decide it can only get better..

Max wax if you are a simpleton, and Natty's blue if you are a little fancy. Don't ask why I say this, I don't really know. Just my feelings :)

thank you everyone for the kind words, hey compliment yourselves as I have gotten this far from reading posts endlessly.
