Products:
Pinnacle Body Shampoo
Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay
XMT #2
Edge 2K Pads
XMT CFG
Pinnacle Liquid Soveran Wax
ClearKote Quik Shine (x2)
Pinnacle Crystal Mist

What would happen if I topped this with a coat or 2 of Souveran Paste?
Would I add to or take away?? :o

Oh, now that's a nice job! I like the after pictures, nice crisp reflections! Looks like you bought some top products.

What did you use on the tires?

Adding Soveran would "add" to the gloss/shine/slickness.

Also look at SSII. I really like it, and applied a coat to my Mom's car, ontop of NB. I also have it on my white car, and it looks very nice.

Did you experience much dusting with the XMT? I recently was using XMT3 and it was dusting quiet a bit. I had to switch to a clean pad and go with a different polish nor of the XMT line.

Those are great shots. Looks like your first PC experience was a great one.

First one went great IMO, well done, how was the PC experience?

Very nice job. The flakes are really poping out in the after pictures.

Very nice.

Thanks allot for all of the nice words. You really know how to make someone feel welcome and good about their work. Let me try and get some of those questions answered.....
Tires: Armor-All Tire Gel; Works great, I haven't used anything that will hold up like this does. It rained today (yep I had to drive the truck :( ). The tire dressing really held up nice! Last time I used it it lasted about a month (through lots of rain).
Wheels: I used P21S Wheel Cleaner, First time using it, Love it.
Nick, I was going to buy some of the SSII when it was on sale but had to prioritize my order and I didn't have enough left over, but I do have some Souveran Paste... I'm really want to get some along with a can of PB Natty's Blue (I see it's on sale now, :( having wallet pains...)

Mike, as far as the XMT I had very little dusting with either the #2 or the CFG.
I really love my PC, but just like any relationship it takes some time to find out that the other likes/ dislikes. :)
I'm having some problems determining how much pressure to apply using the Edge 2K pads and what pad to use with the different products. BTW how/where do you put the chemicals. on a Edge 2K , around the edge of the pad?? Any Tips?

Thanks Again!

Brian

Nice job on the paint, I love Nattys Blue. What AA Gel do you use? I have the Extreme Gel and that's pretty much all I use now, good durability and looks and easy to use unlike Meg's Enduurance that applies to thick.

Great job bro!! First thing that jumps out to me was the great deep and crisp refelction shots. Hard to do on a very flakey paint like that. Awesome work!

There's nothing wrong with applying Souveran over everything you done. Would only add to the gloss. After you buff off the Souveran, I wouldnt' apply any spray waxes until a few hours after curing. I know it's a carnuaba, but let it settle for a little bit.

I too have experience little to no dusting with XMT 1/2, but I do experience some with XMT 3.

I like to put the compound/polish around the edges of the pads. As far as pressure, (especially with yellow or green pads), I found it best to apply a decent amount (IDK, 7-10lbs or so?) when first starting to work in the polish. I generally do this for about 4 min per panel on speed 6. I then lower to speed 5 and apply very little to no pressure. Especially on the green and yellow pads, this really help minimize or completely get rid of any micromarring that the pad may leave when applying heavy pressure.

It takes practice, and once you get the hang of it, you can pretty much use any pad, any XMT polish combo, and make it LSP ready.

I like to use XMT 3 a lot and just very it according to pad (either yellow or green) depending on the situation. If the paint started bad, I then use orange with XMT #2 to finish it up. If it wasn't too bad, then I like to use green/#3 combo. If needed, I then would use Orange/#1 combo.

Hope this helps anyone who might need it.
