Good day, I would introduce myself and show my first experience in the art of beautifying cars
My name is João Gabriel, Brazilian, 24 years. Fond of shining cars rsrsrs
This is my own car, tried to follow advice from more experienced, but maybe I've forgotten something important, I'm open to criticism and suggestions.

This is my 1999 Honda Civic with original paint (some touch-up paint micro poorly made)

First step was to wash with automobile shampoo using the technique of two buckets

The wheels were very dirty, I used Iron-Z to help in cleaning;

second step, decontaminate glazing and painting with Clay Bar 3M :

Now decontaminated car, I could analyze the damage paint, and they were many; But some so deep that neither had hope in removing them:

Enough work to remove all wax residue of old applications:

Applied a test of the painting to decide which products to use (should have used Yellow Beret with UC):

For external rubbers used the Extreme Shine Oil Based of CG, I LOVED THE RESULTS:

Welcome Joao!

Looks like you started very well. What impressed me a lot is your will to 'Detail' the car. That only demonstrates you're doing your homework a lot.

The final results you achieved shows clearly you have a great potential and I'm pretty sure in no time you'll be developing your skills to a much higher level.

Just keep reading, get the most information you can, and when practicing, keep it simple - but following the solid base you already formed.

It seems to me you have an yellow Maverick there? I'd recommend for you to keep improving your technique, and when you feel ready, tackle the Maverick to a show car status.

I wish you all of luck, but more than that, plenty of study and hands-on practice to keep improving even more what you're already doing good.

Thanks for sharing,

Count on me.

Kind Regards.
