Well, after doing a few cars, I finally feel comfortable enough to post up here for you guys to see my results. This is a 2003 Ford Escape, 50,000 miles! This looked worse then the 2003 Bonneville I bought last year with 125,000 miles on it.

I tried SIP with an LC CCS orange pad and it just didn't cut it. I didn't have anything else, and I didn't have the time to order something online and wait for shipping. SO, I picked up some Meguiar's #4 locally. I know, I know, probably not good stuff, but it was all they had.

Two bucket wash with Meg's Gold Class car wash and grout sponge
Mothers clay bar
Meg's #4 with orange Wolfgang & UDM
SIP with LC CCS orange pad & UDM
Menzerna Micro Polish with LC CCS white pad & UDM
IPA wipedown
Meg's # 21 V 2.0 with LC CCS black pad, removed with LC CCS blue pad

Wheels and tires
cleaned with DP gel wheel cleaner
Meg's Gold Class Endurance tire shine
rims got treated with Meg's #21

Here it is, please let me know what you think. I know that the wheel wells could use more work, but that is the best I could get them without an APC.

BEFORE (sorry, I didn't get a full vehicle before shot )

First Show n Shine, but not your first detail! Nice turn out, good job!

Nope, not first detail, but still very new! This is maybe the 10th vehicle I have done so far including one boat. I just love the look afterwords and the look on the owners face! Priceless and makes it well worth all the work:buffing:

What a difference from before and after. Nice work

Well they just picked it up and they were amazed:cheers: They couldn't stop staring at the reflection and kept making comments that they had no idea it could look this good! That makes all the hard work worth any amount of time spentIm the MAN

Well I would say you have nothing to be worried about, great First Show N Shine and hope its not your last. Amazing results! You should be VERY pleased with the results!:righton:

Thats one crazy shine, makes me want to polish my old civic ('97 black). Got some old maguire's products that i need to use up while waiting on my order from AG :D

This is just one of the pics that convinced me to order more AG products :P

Hey, looks really nice my girlfriend thought it was 2 diffrante cars lol, you should try spraying WD-40 in the wheel wells, which will keep the wheel wells looking black for about a week, also helps prevent rust, i do it on my car n people who are close to me havent dared to do it for a custumer yet but I learned that in a detailing shop :)

I thought that was a scratch down the side, but it's the reflection from other cars in the background. I am jealous! VERY nice work!!! :righton:

I almost didn't post that picture for that reason LOL. Even after spending all that time on it, when I looked at the pics, I freaked out thinking there was a huge scratch! It took me a few moments to really look at it and see what it was:D

Great turnaround there! I can see why the owners were so happy. A good product to return that new black look to wheel wells is Megs All Season Dressing. Again kudos for using a black car for your first show and shine!

I have to say that so far, black is my favorite color to work on!

Thanks for the well tip, I will check that out right now:D

This is Tom, 95SLE.
Looks great. Man 14 hours and it does show. You are building up a nice little business one satisfied customer at a time. Next thing you will need is a detailing shop. LOL Try getting that past Stephanie!

Excellent turn around.Really got that black popping.Good job

Your hard work paid off. I'm glad your clients are pleased with the transformation...(they have no reason not to be pleased from what I can see). Thanks for the pics, process, and products.-Mike
