My 'Google Places' has been Deleted!!

So I just reached out to a few companies for SEO and I told them all I was on google places. If you went anywhere in the country and typed in 'mobile detailing St. Louis' I came up number 4 and the first 3 guys had bad reviews. Well the first SEO guy said 'I can't find you anywhere on 'Google Places.' I am completely gone off there! I tried to edit my info on my page a few months ago and Google called me out of the blue one day and asked if I was the owner of shine time and if my business address was---- I said yes and they hung up. I got on Google later that day and the stuff was edited. Google then called twice about 3 weeks ago and I missed their call by about 10 sec each time and when I called back I couldn't get a hold of anyone.

Is there any way I will get my listing back? It just sucks because for the past year I have stayed at number 4 and now I may have to start all over. Anyone ever had this happen to them?

I think that happens if "users" report that the business no longer exists like if they call and there is no answer or something.
 
Maybe they were updating it? Hopefully you can get a hold of them.
 
My voice mail on my business line says this is Tom with shine time auto detail...I think that clarifies I'm in business still ;)
 
google places has been screwy here lately, a review a customer added did not show up, my add was missing for 2-3 days. its just really screwy, whats even worse is there is no customer service for customers using the free service, only help is via email...
 
Did you create the Google Place page? If so login to your Google Account then go to 'Account' then 'Products' then 'Google Places'. This will bring you to your Google Places dashboard. Check the status of your Place page. This should give you more information.

It sounds a little funny to me, I've never heard of Google calling anyone to verify an address. This is usually done via mail. They mail you a code which you use to verify the account in the Google Places dashboard.

If you didn't create the Google Place page with your own Google account, then your just asking for trouble. Basically someone else has the keys to your ride. I highly suggest making your own Google Place page. If your going to have a friend, relative or employee create your page; have them use your own Google Account. Then change the password once they're finished. This will ensure no one else has the "keys to your ride".
 
Did you create the Google Place page yourself? The page owner would be whoever created the page.

I would just cut my losses and create a new page with your own account. Should only take an hour or two and I would want to start the verification process immediately.
