My home burned down yesterday

I live with my grandparents 5 minutes away but I grew up at this house. The rest of my family still lived there and I would stay there pretty much every single weekend.

I was at work and got a text with a picture of my mom's house entirely engulfed in flames. I'll post up pictures tomorrow.



My brother and stepdad were inside sleeping but my brother woke up and saved them both. Little sister was at school and my mom was at work. I think all of the pets are dead..

We are getting enormous support from our little town - it's nice to see a community come together when one of their own experiences tragedy.

so sorry to hear about the house can not imagine how you feel. glad to hear that all of the people you care about made it out, sorry about the animals. my family's thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. nice to hear you have a lot of local support.
 
OMG! Do they know what happened yet? Glad everyone was ok (except the pets, sorry).
 
Sorry to hear about this misfortune. Like others have said, glad everybody is safe. It's difficult enough by itself but to lose pets makes it even harder. Stay strong throughout the recovery.

Hopefully people can make any donation, evenm if it's a small one. "I know you lost everything you had ,and that's going to be tough.

Good Gosh man , that has to be so hard , Pets are family members . So sorry for your losses and Thank Goodness the 2 legged Family got out or weren't at home . Here's to a speedy recovery .

I am so sorry to hear this! All your belongings are lost, but can be replaced...I am sad for you because of the lost pets too! I would be lost without my chihuahuas!

So sorry to hear this. That's awful.. Thank god your family got out ok, So sorry to hear about the pets as I know they are family too.
