Many moons ago, I was involved in the hiring of carpenters. The interview required a visual critique of the applicants vehicle. How they cared for their vehicle was a reliable indicator of how they will treat company equipment and a customers works site.

Very smart idea.

I work for a dealer, and when I see the condition of some vehicle's interiors, it makes me cringe to imagine what their homes must look like.

Sloppy, dirty, and uncared for carries over into other aspects of life.

I’m that guy that when you come to my house to look at something I have for sale..... you say wow at the cleanliness of the surroundings and pull your checkbook out.
