This early 2024 detail is dedicated to my friend Joe, who annually brings his car in for a basic clean and protect using my 12-month ceramic coating using GYEON CanCoat EVO—which, IMO, really should be called an 18-month coating since it lasts so much longer than expected. It's truly great stuff!
This time, Joe swapped his Golf R for a stunning BMW M240I in Brooklyn Grey with gloss black accents. I absolutely love this color, which seems to be quite popular lately. It might be the combination of the car and its accents, but it really stands out.
He purchased this BMW second-hand, and with under 8,000 miles on it, our goal was to clear up the swirl marks left by the dealership and the first owner. After that, we applied a ceramic coating to make the car easier to clean and maintain. As a bonus, I also treated the wheels and glass—the gloss black wheels needed some polishing, but they turned out fantastic!
