***I messed up on the title. Its supposed to say" My method for removing very difficult water spots with SPOTLESS and NANOSKIN" ***

So today I had a customer who had some of the worst hard water spots i have ever seen. They were terrible. Apparetly he has acid water or something where he lives lol. Any way, I went at the car with CarPro spotless. Spotless works very well but this time it was almost no match for these hard water spots. But none the less it worked in the end and here is how i did it.

I first washed the car to see what i was working with. I sprayed the area down with spotless and then sprayed my foam applicator with spotless and applied to to the paint in a cross hatching pattern. I may have left it on the paint longer then recomended but my test spot determined it was safe. I rubbed it in for about 30sec - 1min. It was shady and cool which allowed me to work it longer. I then hosed it down to wash away the acid then i sprayed with clay lube and used the nano skin sponge (fine). I wiped the area down with a dry microfiber and examined the area. I repeated this process about 4 times to get the results I wanted. Spotless paired with the nano skin worked wonders.

Total time on this car was around 4 hours. That included wash, wax, clean glass, clean chrome, dress trim tires and wheel wells and pack up.

All in all this shaved 8 hours off my time as i didnt have to do a 3 stage paint correction. This also made my customer very happy because it didnt cost him an arm and a leg. He was so happy in fact he scheduled 2 more details with me next week for his suv and his wifes car.

Here are 2 pictures (one before one after) also note that the before picture was after i washed the car and that circular haze was where my customer tried removing the water spots with megs water spot remover.

Excellent! job and definite timer saver!

Wow Beautiful!! Just curious...have you tried white vinegar (from grocery store)? The reason why I ask is that I have a couple of Jet Ski's (1 stand-up old school) and another sit down. We go to the river where we get hard water spots from the river (fresh water). I tried many products to no avail.

White vinegar is the only way to get rid of it.

1 thing is, I never tried Carpro Spotless. Based on your review I think I will try that and I am hoping the smell of the product is not bad.

Any hoo any thoughts on the vinegar thing?

Nice work! Going to add the Spotless to my next order for sure.

I used white vinegar on the window on my truck and it didn't do anything. Spotless worked quick and easy to remove those spots. The smell of spotless is actually not bad. It smells like lemon flavored fun dip candy.

Nice work, but dang it, I probably need a bottle of Spotless.

It's pretty cheap and definitely worth the money. Best part is a little bit goes a long way.

Did you just glide the nanoskin or put some extents of pressure?

No it took a little force but I'd say no more then what would be used to remove typical contaminants.

So it is safe for glass??? If it is then I'm in on that. I see waterspots like that all the time and the acid I use will mess up the glass. If I do glass waterspot removal I normally have to go with ceriglass. If this works on all then I need to try it.

On glass it works much easier. On glass there is no need to clay and typically only takes one application. Here is a before and after on glass. Mind you my before picture is after cleaning with glass cleaner.
