Dear Friends,

Last time I've placed a thread in here was to talk about an accident that occurred at my garage and took away my pride and joy of running a successful Home-Based Detailing Business.
http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/off-topic/92180-happy-birthday-tato-2.html#post1258688

I was not intending to stay home-based for life but also not interested in going out too early. The follow-up to what I was dreaming was being able to save and to build (years ahead) an 'Hospital-Looking' Car Detailing Shop, respected it's obvious differences. We are Free to Dream.

After weeks of silence I decided to como here and talk about what was happening to me, my family and my detailing business.

I've received so many positive messages from our members here that I was able to workout and convert in a series of attitudes towards the destiny of my detailing business. I couldn't give up for so little.

That quote is attributed to the German Philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche. Actually, he said it much more eloquently: "That which does not kill us, make us stronger." It turns out that he was right. (Source: Google that Phrase)

You were all right!, and it's ALL your fault, but

I'm glad to present you my new Detailing Business Place:

300 square meters of free detailing space

Thank you very much. I couldn't finish placing the thread because of several server errors, there's a lot more information I'd like to share.

If an Admin can join the following text to the initial message I appreciate.

Let's try again:

I've found a Detailer who's now my work partner. We have customers! We have allowance! We have a formal business... We have Insurance!

I'm slowly installing my light setup which will need some upgrade because I'm now with 10x more space than before. Slowly, but not steady, hope we'll get there:

I will update this thread with new pictures when everything's ready, but I could capture some of what I'm carrying...

We have Menzerna Line,

In Line:

Cutting box (orange predominant), Polishing/Finishing Box (white predominant):

We count on credibility of PBMG's house brands to top our work:

We got Meguiar's

CarPro reinforcements

We are Enthusiasts!

We use the Guard,

and Quality wash media and tools:

Unfortunately that's only what I have to share from new place so far.

From weeks to follow I'll try to capture and share some of our work being performed, and I'm looking forward to listen your critics and suggestions, opinions which always counted with maximum importance for me.

...
We are studying the name / logomark of our place, bellow is what we have so far.

Why Studio?

A simple dictionary definition of the word:

studio
noun (pl .studios)
1 a room where an artist, photographer, sculptor, etc., works.

Why Show Car?

Even though we will be working on maintenance washes and sparingly Quality Production Work (learnt at AGO!), our main focus will be taking our customer's cars to Show Car condition via full detailing procedures.

How do you believe we should look like?

VOTE CONSERVATIVE, to support the development of a conservative logo style:

VOTE AGGRESSIVE, to support the development of an aggressive logo style:

Please, if you dare, you can help us developing our logo and card with your ideas, feel free to share, everything (from you) will be useful.

I appreciate you taking your time following my story and supporting my journey,

Count on me as well, always.

Kind Regards,

From Brazil.

Congrats Tato, I enjoy reading your review and Show N Shine ^^
With that awesome shop setup,
I believe more people will benefit from your professional detail work.

Regards

Outstanding my friend! :dblthumb2: I bet you're super excited to get set up & start detailing. The studio looks really nice, I look forward to more pics when you're in & settled.

I vote for the "aggressive" style for your logo. :xyxthumbs:

Great to have you back mate!

Thank you for coming by, and for kind words. I've just shared a new thread showing one of the latest works performed at my old garage.

I invite you to take a look, http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...full-detail-coating-pinnacle-black-label.html

Thank you so much Aaryn, happy hearing from you. Even though I'm not online as much as I wish, everyone can always contact me via PM or another media, I'll be glad to help or even engage in an informal talk. Count on me!

Thank you for the logo voting!, your opinion counts a lot in our decision.

Call anytime,

Kind Regards.

Congratulation. I am envious of you ;) Your workspace looks really nice.

That is outstanding my friend! Glad to see and hear of the next chapter in your life.

Looking forward to seeing your valuable contributions.

I like the black logo.

Mike

Thank you for support, I'm looking forward being more active here and write / listen from you.

Really glad you enjoyed.

We are doing minor adjustments but already working at least one car per day or two (since we moved) in order to pay our bills.

With time I'll talk about the difference of low cost working from home compared to 'high' cost working at a place. Practice showed some differences compared to what I thought (theory).

In advance, I can say to everyone that it's possible!, and I'm truly happy about it.

Let me know, and thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Kind Regards.

Glad to hear this my friend, the studio looks great and im sure you will be putting out great work like always

Congratulations. I know you will continue to be very successful.

:dblthumb2:
