There are many good ways I've read to clean pads and this one may have been talked about but after getting so much knowledge from you guys i think i may have a little of my own i can finally give back.
What i do is use some megs apc diluted around 6:1 spray all over the pad (soak it) work it in with my fingers. Then use my small low power pw (1400 psi) adjust the nozzle to the widest setting so it's not a very strong jet. And just rinse out for dirtier pads I may do this twice. After getting all the suds out i spun dry on my rotary then either set in the sun in a tupaware container or set in front of my halogen flood light. My pads have never been damaged and come out looking almost brand new.
I hope this helps some one since I've received so much help here I'd like to think i was able to give some thing back
