1st bucket: 1:1 wheel acid used as car wash solution, meant for cutting through the road grime

2nd bucket: 3D pink soap to neutralize

3rd bucket: Rinse bucket with four grit guards in it (I don’t want to induce swirls)

4th bucket: 1gal of straight iron remover. I brush it on.

5th bucket: 210:1 ONR (clay lube)

6th bucket: 0.5 gal hot water (keep clay bar in it, stays soft)

7th bucket: 1 gal of 3D Gum and Tar remover (for those pesky tar slings). I brush it on.

Customers are always thrilled with the results!

Wow. Good thing you are not taxed per bucket.

I’m truly shocked.. So you’re using 4 Grit Guards yet you’re going straight at it 1st with wheel acid & minimal lubrication eh? 1st time I’ve heard of that idea.

This whole process sounds a bit excessive on the cost. I would suggest multiple mitts instead of multiple grit guards but I’m guessing that wouldn’t exactly work considering you need to use the same mitts for every bucket/step.

How exactly do you go about “brushing” on the wheel acid & Iron remover? What brush do you use? And how long does your claybar really spend in its own dedicated bucket of warm water?

And you said you’ve got a bucket of 100% iron remover? I’m guessing that bucket stinks? Not to mention, that’s gotta be 1 expensive bucket of product. What iron remover do you use?

Are you just kidding around?
More power to you if this works for you, but I just don’t see how this is a good idea from any standpoint. You should make a YouTube video showing this process in action.

Also: How are you going about keeping the wheel acid off your hands? Normal size gloves won’t suffice, so does that mean you’re wearing bathroom style rubber gloves? Or are you just barebacking it?

Some buckets might be necessary in extreme clean up situations but for normal maintenance washes I use my foam gun and no buckets at all and couldn't be happier

I like this method. Might I suggest an eighth bucket full of Gatorade. In my experience coatings perform better when infused with electrolytes. It really takes the water beading to an entirely new level.

Or anything sticky? Bucket of maple syrup has longevity but the difficulty of install is insanely high
