Mystery Machine

Was out in the garage today doing multiple product testing and one of the things I tested out was a new mystery machine. Can't show pictures of it but I did pull #1500 Grit Sanding Marks out using M105 and a single foam pad with no swirls.

Posted a picture of the end results to my Facebook Page.

Note the shine section in the picture and the section back by the G110v2 that I used to sand down the hood.

:)

Looking forward to hearing more about it Mike! :props:

Can you tell us if it's rotary or DA? You like it better than the Flex so far?

Looks like a SEMA story. And Max's car gets beat up again???!!!

Bwaaa haaaaa Scooby!!!

My $$ says it is a Flex. Just a new model. Can't wait to see it!

Please let it be a revised Flex forced-rotation DA that will accept different sized backing plates! I'd sell my 3401 and upgrade to it in a heartbeat if that's what it is.

:righton:

you're killing us Mike!! We all want to know......truth is...a block of wood in your hands with some type of pad is all you would need with your experience.....guess we will have to keep "tuned in to see"..

I assume this is the same mystery machine that Kevin Brown is hinting at in this post:

Since the photo has been blurred, maybe the mystery machine is actually "hidden in plain sight" in his teaser photo?

What is the machine to the left of the Meg's, never seen that one before but know all the others

i doubt it could be a new Flex DA (could be wrong though, you never know) as it's only been out a few years and practically the only thing they would need to change/upgrade is a smaller backing plate. it's most likely the new Flex rotary (pic taken from DB)...

Well I'm going to outright guess two new products at SEMA:
- Flex Polisher (or pads??)
- Meguiars 'wonder polish' - removes sanding scratches and finishes perfectly LSP-ready with a DA and no dusting

Does that say speed 1 is 600RPM like a Makita? I'm going to be upset if that's the case. A rotary the size and weight of the 3403 but a speed range like a Makita would be awesome, yet I just bought my 3403 a few months ago!
