How's everybodies luck been with this? I love it as a waterless wash but I didn't have any luck with it as a panel wipe

Yeah I haven't had too much luck with it at panel wipe dilution. Too sticky or streaky. Especially on softer paints. In all honesty I have gone away from eraser, ipa and other wipes and switched to body shop prep solve or mineral spirits. Much better lubricity and easier to use.

>> body shop prep solve or mineral spirits
any of them? even the one from HD?

Why didnt you have any luck with it ? What did you experience.

My surface cleansing polish failed on me so I used a heavy dose of the n914 instead. I then applied my usual standard 2 coats of synergy and it didnt bond at all. Took me 2 washes with apc to get all the oily residue off the car.

It was almost as bad as the time I put an acrylic glaze on before the synergy. This was before I realized it had to be prepped like a coating it was a complete mess

Where you trying to remove old wax/sealant? Or just remove polishing oils ?

N914 @ Panel wipe is not capable of removing waxes or sealants. It is designed to remove polishing oils/fillers from the polishing stages.

If you were experiencing a oily film that is not from N914 if applied heavy you will notice some bubbles/streaking.

However it has never given me any issues as far as hard clean up.

Polishing oils... The oily film was from the hybrid wax not bonding properly. It didn't bond properly because the panel wipe with 914 was not effective.
