Ok well there has been alot of talk on the forums about paste waxes... which one is better, which one this, which one that? IMO I hate having to choose from a huge assortment of waxes, however since AG I have 2 cans of XMT 180 and 1 can of Natty red, white and blue... and I plan on still making the first "Natty Purple". I don't have the low down as of yet which is better for what application. So if you have some info please let me know MODS.
180 good for:
Natty red good for:
Natty white good for:
Natty blue good for:
This way it help others out.
Anyway, like the 180 I took a butter knife and cut around the wax then dumped it into saran wrap, then put it back inside the container. That way when I want to apply it to a pad, I dump it out, unfold wrap and I don't touch the wax with my hands!!
I used a blue cyclo pads and of course it went on without any problem. I was in a garage so no sun. I let it sit for about 20-25 mins. Maybe too long. I use those new MF that are white and have the red trim around to buff off. Kinda hard, had to work a little more to get it off than 180. But it smells like strawberries!!! The bimmer has flake but as i was finishing up the detail a huge storm was rolling in, so i couldn't get any outside pics
From what I could tell being in the garage, it gave a nice glaze look to the paint, very smooth and IMO added some depth to the silver. All in all, pretty good stuff. Not used Blue or white so can't compare to that stuff. But here is the car.
