Need a fast cutting sanding disk

I know this really is not the right topic area, but it catches the most traffic.

Here's the thing. I have been using Mirka abralon sanding disk for my gel coat work. But they just don't cut as fast.

I'm swamped for work right now on boats, and two of the 4 lined up need wet sanding. In order to crank these boats out I need an fast cutting sanding disk. A disk that won't hydroplane, and resistant to pig tails.

Any recommendations? Preferably in 500, 1000, 1500 and or 2000 grit. In a 6in disk for my flex 3401

Mike Phillips is a major guru as well when it comes to boats.I would wait to see if he will respond.He is extremely busy man I'm sure some one has a link to wet sanding boats that he demonstrated or wrote and article on that topic.Due to the severity of the gelcoat will probably dictate the intial grit cut then go from there.
