Need a new hose

Have you tried dressing it with Opti-Bond? ;)
 
I own a firehose nozzle and I am not a big fan of it either. I am seriously thinking about buying a spray gun with multiple settings again. Lost the one I had and purchased the firehose nozzle instead but I don't see why people are using this. What advantages do you guys find to this setup compared to a spray gun?
