Hey guys I have a car to do for a friend of my father-in-law maybe 2 if he likes the first one. Right off the bat I'm not making what I should so I am trying to cut some time from the detail to keep more money in my pocket and cover supplies and water bill.
Routine would be
Wheels>Wash>Clay.
Now can I go straight to the PB glazes since they have light cleaners in them? I would probably wash again to remove clay lube residue (IUDJ) then apply a polymer sealant over the glaze.
I'm trying to avoid polishing the car. If I have to I have Menz FG400, 2500, CG P40, V36, V38. I like the P40 because it requires no wipe down and does a nice job of cleaning softer paints. I can always do a really quick 1 pass once over and don't let the abrasives break down all the way if I have to polish. I might consider an AIO depending how soft the paint it. I'm not looking for durability here just the that looks nice. He's not paying me for a full correction so I'm not going to do one.
Then the usual seal the wheels and dress the trim. Keep in mind I'm doing the interior as well, vac, windows wipe down and dress.
It is free advertising the guy knows everyone in my town.
Thanks for the advice.
