I am looking for a ceramic spray sealant that can be applied outside in sunlight that is around $20 or so. I got around to trying seal and shine which has been great except for the application in direct sunlight leaves smearing even with immediate removal. I’m finding myself having to do a follow up step with a wet microfiber and fry a second time.

I love using megs ultimate quick wax as it applies perfectly no matter the weather conditions but the longevity is at best a month or less.

What is a quick applying, sun friendly ceramic sealant that isn’t too finicky. Would like something with at least 2-3 months or more longevity.

I have not used it in direct sun but I have used it and that would be Vonixx Sinergy Paint Sealant. Apply it on a cool day and you would be good.

Think I would prefer to not use them in the sun however two good candidates are Feynlab Hybrid Ceramic Detailer or Collinite Beadcoat.

A definite +1 on Feynlab Ceramic Detailer. Using on 3 vehicles. Love the gloss and slickness.

Matter of fact here is a video that compares those two.

Theres a case to be had for Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Detailer. Really decent product and it can be bought at so many stores, so super easy to get anytime.

I thought people have posted issues with the hybrid solutions spray streaking as well. I’m close to pulling trigger on trying Mega hybrid spray as I’d like to stick with OTC and $20 or under

Was gonna say the same thing. $35 a gallon and even though it's a detailer It's almost as good as some sealants.
But wait, there's more, it perks up black trim and rubber too.

The biggest con is the non sexy packaging. They spent the money on making a great product. Not on bottles and YouTube bribes.

I would prefer a wipe as you dry (something capable of this) standalone spray sealant that would last a few months if possible that can be used in the sun if needed. I love Meg’s ultimate quick wax for being sun friendly but doesn’t last more than a month. The seal in shine lasts for a few months but is super finicky using outside sun or no sun

Highly underrated product!

I agree for a QD it's great but I think it's discontinued as the price reflects that. I'm seeing it at $25. That's a few bucks less than a gallon of Tec582 ($32 on Amazon occasionally). While not exactly a detailer TW Ceramic wet wax is the spray product that I keep going back to, not for slickness, not for shine, but for its ability to keep the car clean after rains.

Feynlab hybrid ceramic detailer checks all your boxes.

I usually buy the Meg's HCD in a kit that goes for around $25. It includes glass cleaner, interior detailer, wash & wax, tire foam, and a microfiber. I give away the tire foam and wash and wax to my neighbors. Part # is G55208.

I looked up Tec582 over here, I only found it on Amazon, at least it has free delivery.Screenshot_20251112-093706.png

I hadn't heard it had been discontinued, it's still listed as available on the Megs Direct website.
