Need Comparison btw C1 and opti-coat 2.0

Hey all, newbie here, great forum, glad I found it. I have a new black Jeep Wrangler and want to put a sealer on it for extra protection from trail scratches. I take it out on fire roads and am getting some brush rubbing against it causing scratches in the clear coat. I have removed the current scratches due to help and videos on this forum, and am thinking of putting on a sealant like GTechnic C1 or opti-coat 2.0. My thinking is it will act as an extra barrier to future scratches and when I have to buff them out next time, I would minimize thinning the current clear coat hoping the scratches would be in the protectant instead. I maintain my vehicle with weekly detailing. Is my thinking correct to use these products, and if so what is the pro's and con's of each. Thanks

Opti Coat and C1 have learniing curves. CarPro UK is much easier to apply the first time. Boost it with ReLoad by CarPro.

If you're running fire roads I don't know that anything is going to stop scratches. Sure, a coating is going to *help*, at least to a degree. The harder the better!

I'd look at ppf for the sides of your Jeep. Especially the fender flares. Today's ppf's are pretty darned clear, slick, and not totally unaffordable. Not really going to look out of place on a Wrangler either.

Ya, I agree I won't be able to keep all the scratches off. I was actually thinking of getting magnetic sheets, cutting them out to fit on the doors when off roading. I love the look of my jeep but want to have fun in it also so just looking for a good compromise. I haven't seen any ppf for the doors, just fenders and grill, I'll research them for the doors.
