Just wanted to give people a heads up on a new movie based on the video game Need for Speed. I figured with all the car geeks here, i thought it would be interesting to many. Right now they are filming in Detroit and will continue to shoot for Spring, 2014 release. I have met the director as he is married to a family member, and looks like it will be a nice jump start to his career. Act of Valor (Navy Seal flick) was his first major film. So, if you like fast machines...check it out!

That's cool the trailer looked interesting.

Act of Valor broke some new ground but the market wasn't ready for it. The Need For Speed was a famous line in Top Gun and I hear a Top Gun 2 is in the works as well.

I hope it does well car chase / speed flicks have good potential.
 
Hmmmm, looks good in the trailer.

Top Gun 2...really? That will be hard to do a 'good' sequel. Top Gun was one of those movies that just had that 'something'.

I bought my kid Need For Speed - Most Wanted.

I used to play games before finding AGO :P
