So I'm interested in trying a new wax this year. I wanted to give Megs Ultimate a try, but are full sun capable, but what about the difference in the paste vs. wax?

Also would the wax or polish benefit from having a layer of m26 in or below it? M26 is touted as the best optical wax but I can't remember if it was short on longevity or hard to remove...

Thanks guys

•About the only thing(s) I can think of that may be different
about the two forms of Ultimate Wax are:

-The ingredients that make a Paste Wax "paste-y"...
could cause you to notice application/removal differences
between the two forms of this product.

-There's the possibility that the same above mentioned "paste-y" ingredients,
found in the Paste Wax-version, could stain textured trim.

•As to M26:
-Application of this Wax, on top of either form of
Ultimate Wax (a Sealant), is solely your option.

Is there still an issue with Ultimate streaking on black paint?

Assuming the difference between the paste and wax is preference and ease of application

Ultimate liquid wax and ultimate paste wax are essentially the same. The difference is that the liquid version will not stain trim. The paste version will. I have never had any streaking issues on dark colored cars with UW.

M26 over UW is fine. I've found the durability to be typical for a carnauba.

Thanks guys anyone have a direct comparison on UW paste vs 845?

UW lasts me 3 months, 845 lasts 4-5 months with alittle added gloss due to carnauba content.
