Hello,

I was wondering if anyone else has a problem polishing/waxing trucks or suv that are high? I'm a shorter guy, and cannot reach the middle of the hood without maring or scratching anything. tried stools, ladders. anyone else have a problem with this?

thanks!

step ladder? and wear a microfiber apron found on the AG store, that way you won scratch anything :)

Also, wrap the cable on your shoulder.

Also, be sure to polish from the middle of the car -> out -- this way, if you have to rub up against the sides of the car when you're doing the middle, you'll take out any potential scratches as you work your way outwards.

Also, I've never done it, and probably never will as I'm 6'1, but leaning a ladder onto a vehicle, but putting 3-4 towels in between you and the ladder might work ? Maybe depending on vehicle and the location of the ladder's highest (typically plastic) part.. just a thought..

I brought a aluminum step bench, about 18 inches high, and I laid towels on the fenders when I did the hood, and I started at center of the hood/roof and worked outward

Stand in the bed of the truck to do the rear part of the roof. I have to do that just to wash my Tundra with a mitt.
