Hey all, I just picked up a Machine Silver 2008 Corvette Z06 with 16,500 miles on the clock. The car is not bad off at all and seems to be taken care of by the previous owner pretty well but I can see some light spider webbing and a few light "scratches" here and there. Noting I can feel with my fingernail so I know they should come out pretty easily. BUT!... the car is not flawless and that bothers me. I am mainly concerned about how aggressive I should go based on what I have to work with, I don't want to accidently introduce micro marring or hazing.

So heres what I have to work with, let me know if you think there is something in the list that I might try alternatively

- Griots clay bar and Griots quick detatiler
- Griots 6" Orbital polisher (2nd gen)
- LC orange, white, black CCS pads and some red Griots pads
- M105
- m205
- Menzerna po85rd
- Wolfgang Deep Gloss 3.0

Heres the patient

Add an IronX type of decontamination system.
"Test Spot".
Least aggressive first. (Ex: M205/white pad)

Nice Ride! :xyxthumbs:

IIRC C6 paint is pretty "hard" and should take some doing. But always start with your least aggressive and move up as needed after doing a test spot. If youre washed and clayed then theres nothing too special; just take your time!

Oh, and nice buy!
