Hi Geeks,

I need some help, Soo i have a few polishes and compounds, Mainly optimum hyper and Carpro fixer, But it seems that im going to be doing a good bit in direct sunlight, So i think im going to have to stick to Some Poorboys products since you can use them in sunlight, Do you have recomendations, I have some moderate swirls to get rid of and Alot of water spots, Im on well water and Dont have a filter hooked to the hose yet and man did i get water spots like crazyy, Does poorboys have a really good 1 step or even a duo that works really well

The paint is in really good shape but i recently had to have dents pulled from a hail storm and the body guys def put some swirls in the paint where they pulled dents from and some marringFeed back please

Poorboys and Duragloss are popular with the outdoor detailers/polishers

Nothing worse then trying to polish in direct Sunlite. You'll never achieve optimun results IMO

If you must work in direct sunlight then use products formulated for use in direct sun. To avoid purchasing a ton of new products start very early when the sun is low on the horizon to avoid the suns hot times...

Remember, it's surface temperature and not necessarily sun that's the issue...

I know the feeling. Im about to invest in a canopy for all my detailing needs. Havent had to get one previously since all my clients have had garages to work in.

You can rotate the car too :props:

Dig That! :xyxthumbs:

During the Winter I often polish in direct Sunlight :dblthumb2:

Same here!

I love working in direct sunlight during the fall! The light is great, the air cool, and the sun warms the finish just enough to make everything comfortable!! :props:

Ya I have given a canopy a thought. I know its all surface temp, but it was 90 today and touchin the car did feel rather hot, im not gonna go buy all new products, as there are days that are sunny but its only 70 out and surface temps are good, optimum hyper compund did great, I just wanted a recommendation on what I could use when surface temps are a lil hot, I attempted to do fixer and it was a no go, but figured on days like this poorboys might be the ticket

I just ordered Poorboy's Polish and Sealant, and can't wait to try it. I ordered it not only because it works well in the heat, but because I've heard nothing but great things about it. From all the reviews I've read, people are saying it is one of the best AIO's available.

i think im going to give the SSR 2.5 and SSR 1 a go since u can use in direct sunlight and it has some good feedback on it

Yup, PwS (Polish with Sealant) is great! Sometimes I use it after a pass of D300 on a microfiber pad, love it!

Heavy up the pad to get more correction or lighten up the pad for light correction.
It wipes off easily too, I love the stuff.
