I told a buddy I would detail his BMW. It is a dark grey color, looks like there may be some flecks but it looks like a muted color, not shiny. But then maybe that is because I have only seen it dirty!

It doesn't look like it needs correction; however, I've not seen it clean in sun yet.

Some ideas for finish:

PB PwS, or
PB Black Hole topped with PB Sealant, or,
PB Black Hole topped with Natty's Blue, or
WG Glaze topped with WG sealant, or....?

I also have Souvern wax, but my only hesitation is the durability. But I'm sure it would look good.

WG Glaze is a finishing polish with abrasives. I mention it b/c it is different from all the other combos you have listed.

Is this a prep for winter? If so then I'd go with the WG sealant applied to a clean surface. You could use the WG finishing glaze as a paint cleaner since the abrasives will help bring more clarity to the finish but unless you have a buffer, not sure it will do much.

Even if you use it with a buffer, you'll need to wipe/wash the oils off before putting the sealant down for proper bonding.

I am not a big fan of glazes. But whatever you end up doing I would use WGDGPS 3.0 as your LSP. You could always top that with souveran if you like too.

Being the owner of a Graphite BMW I certainly have some experience with one. I think the PB Black Hole Glaze works very well...depending on the year of the car and how many chips are in front paint work (there most likely are) I would avoid PB's EX-P Sealant like the plague...it will highlight the hell out of every minute chip in the clear coat. Being in Texas you don't have to worry about a full winter prep and the LSP surviving salt spray...so the final LSP really depends on if you are looking for aesthetics or durability.

I bet the color is the Graphite. Really good point about the EX-P! Hmm, maybe BH and Natty's or Souvern. Then again, WG Glaze sounds good if it has some polishing ability.

So, PB BH and wax (either Natty's or Souvern) or
WG Glaze and wax
I do have a RO

I like the look of the BH and Natty's combo...have no experience with Sovereign. Regarding the BH it is a cleaner/glaze combo...and you apply it rather thin and work it into the paint. I don't use BH for the filling ability...it just adds some great depth and polish.
