Hi everyone,

I went out to wash my B5 A4 Saturday morning and found that my passenger side door had what appeared to be spider silk like lines all over the front upper leading edge of the door. I ran my finger over it and found that the substance was slightly sticky and would only smudge and smear. The lower door panel/plastic trim had larger splotches of the stuff. There was no greasy or gummy smell to it. I'm not really sure what I kicked upfrom the front wheel.

Not knowing what to use for removal, I tried Joy dishwashing soap on the lower plastic trim of the door with a sponge. All that did was smudge and smear even more.

Any tips? It's been 2 days since the last washing and the substance is still smearable and hasn't really dried.

Thanks!

Hmm, I just read the post above/below my post and looks like tarminator or goo gone might work on this stuff. I guess i'm lucky that it's not crusty yet.
