Need to clean up some diamond plate

Hi folks,

Have a friend who has a horse trailer that needs some attention and I've volunteered to help him out.

Area looking for a little guidance on is the diamond plate the surrounds the wheel and a small section on the tongue just before the section that has the ball receiver is located.

Is Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish a good product for such a job? Never used it so looking for a little guidance.

An OTC metal polish such as Mother's M&A polish might help, but I doubt it's going to do a whole lot on that kind of material. Wouldn't hurt to try it. I have used the Wolfgang system on Diamond Plate and I can tell you it kicks some butt! We did an older trailer that they used to haul race cars in and it looked new when we were done.

Just bought a tool box for my Tundra off Craig's List and had to figure out what the best way to shine it up. Used Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish with my PC. I started out with a LC yellow pad and found it wasn't working very well. Swapped over to a white pad and it did the trick. Cleaned up all oxidation and made a $50 investment look great.
