Ok, I've read and read, and looked at several "how-to" articles on here. Great resource, by the way -but still have questions.
Anyway, I have a couple family cars I'm trying to work on and the Wolfgang twins don't remove all the freakin' scratches and water spots I'd like.
I've been using an orange LC CCS pads with a PC 7424 for the Swirl remover and this doesn't even begin to touch the scratches I'm looking at. Tried applying 15-20 lbs. of pressure and making multiple section passes and my "test spot" never really cleans up that much.
Do I need to switch to a yellow pad? Or should I stick to the orange pad and try a more aggressive product? And, if so, what???
Thanks!
p.s. I realize some of these scratches would probably have to be wet-sanded and I'm NOT ready to go there yet. I just want to clean up the majority of them.
