Needing some help!

Hey everyone. This might be an easy one for you guys. My black leather wrapped steering wheel is covered in tiny white specks on the left hand side where I mainly grip the wheel. I tried Griots Interior Cleaner and Griots Leather Care Spray but they both yielded negative results. At least my steering wheel is clean ... Has anyone else experienced this problem and how do you deal with it?

Much appreciated. I'll look into that stuff. Found some on my shift knob as well. Drives me insane!
