The advent of 3000 grit and then 4000 grit sandpapers changed the way professionals finished out a sanding job. 3M is once again rewriting the standard with the introduction of 5000 Grit Ultra Fine Finishing Discs!

At the #5000 mark you're really starting to restore reflectivity to the paint...

I have a 1972 Cutlass coming up that needs to have a show car finish and this means sanding the paint flat to remove all orange peel.

Anyone interested in seeing this project done? How about helping out?
