We have been listening to our customers, and been hearing a desire for a few extractors. So... we now have added the Aztec to our line. I will personally vouch for this machine since I just used it last night to take out some spots left on my carpet from the builder. You can see on the product page the pictures of the area I cleaned... this machine is magic!

Thanks Meghan, but I have had mine for 2 years now. I know you can't go wrong stocking this piece of equipment. It has paid for itself time & again. I give this Extractor a 10 out of 10!

Glad you like yours, all of us that have tried it love it. The people at Aztec have been very helpful too, seems to be a great company that stands behind their products.

If its anything like the Durrmaid, I wouldn't touch it. It doesn't continually heat the water, you have to heat it all up then when you change to extract the heater turns off. So now you water stats to cool down. So by the time you get done with a whole car, the water is now cold. I sold my Durrmaid and got a steam machine. If you want an extractor then I'd buy a Mytee.

I'm speaking from personal experience with the Durrmaid, maybe the Aztec is different.

used it before its awesome, it can pretty much defeat any stain.

Its nothing like the Durrmaid Once the water is heated it is hot through out the process

Man I want one of these so bad! It would take my detailing to the next level!

:iagree::whs: The 2 machines do not compare. A fellow detailer had the Durrmaid,I have the Aztec. I'd take 1 Aztec over 10 Durrmaids.

As long as the the water level is more than half full it will continue to heat water.

So if the price is not an issue, would you choose the Mytee Lite II over the Hot Rod? I need to add an extractor to my arsenal and am trying to decide between these two units. Portability is not an issue, overall performance is the most important.

I would LOVE to have that Aztec BUT, I have to watch the cost of things at this time.

I am with you, but it is nice to know that there is a quality extractor that I can foresee (all be it far away) being able to purchase.

I guess I will just have to wait for the next big special offer to come around. The special will have to be over 25%. :dblthumb2:

I have one and love it. What helped me sleep better at night was knowing if I had to sell it, I could still sell it for a very good price. Not exactly an investment in terms of selling it used, but the unit has already paid for itself in the work its done. :)

Just curious... what are the main and biggest differences in something like the hotrod, compared to something like the little green machine proheat? Obviously there ARE differences, but whats the main ones? I would imagine hotter water, bigger storage and solution tanks.... anyone know?

I being a hobbyist and not doing details for money, thought about getting a little green machine for personal use, since it is obviously quite a bit cheaper. But if the hotrod can do that much of a better job, I have always been a sucker for upgrading! :D
