New baked paint, can i do a polish?

I just got a new baked paint. How long should i wait before polish (not a wax)? I am gonna use meguiars ultimate polish by hand, no machine.

As long as the polish is body shop safe, you can polish within hours of coming from the paint booth. Provided the paint has been baked. This can also be done by machine.

I would use something other than Ultimate polish. UP has to many oils in it. Use M205 instead.
