So long story short, I want to get this busines rolling come next year, atleast get my foot in the door with some weekend jobs.
I'm curious about how you folks handle referrals.
I've asked my clients what they would like as a "gift" or reward for providing a referral.
To my surprise, most prefer product over cash.
One of the clients said they would prefer a bottle of detail spray ($15) and/or a buffing towel ($5) instead of $50.00 off their next service if they were to send me a $200+ referral.
I see their point of view, I suppose it would feel better having to receive something from a customer point of view.
How do you guys do it?
For the ones with a larger clientele, do you guys even bother doing it? If so, what do you offer?
