I'm getting ready to do my first machine polish (PC7424) on a new 2012 Blizzard Pearl Prius. The products used will be Duragloss 501 followed by DG105 then some Colinite 845 and/or Aquawax. I think I got the paint thing figured out and masking off rubber trim, but couldn't find anything on lights.
My question is how should I treat the headlights, taillights, etc? Should I mask them and not touch them, or should I machine or hand polish/seal them? Which products should I apply?
There is also a chrome lower door trim. Should this be masked off or polished with the rest of the car?
