new car... should i protect plastic trim?

Hello boys and girls!

Just a few questions.. Got a new car.. and was curious..

On a new vehicle should you be using this like Cquartz DLux etc on the trim? If the trim is 100% perfect and not faded is it worth using?

I will be doing the rest of the car with Opti-Coat.. and I know you can use the opti-coat on the trim but if i am going to protected the window rubber with cquartz might as well do the plastic as well

The sooner that you start protecting plastic from UV and nourish it to keep it from drying out the longer it will look like new.
