Howdy ya'll!

I have been remiss in posting and car detailing. Summer was so hot in Dallas and I have been incredibly busy with work.

Sad news, I sold the Jaguar :(

At 9 years old and 84K miles the maintenance costs were mounting. Still a great car, but long term did not make sense to me anymore. I will miss the comfort and speed of the V8 300 bhp engine.

NOW! I own a 2012 Fiat 500 Sport. Black (nero) with two tone (Black and Red) leather seats :). Very Sparten compared to the Jag but way fun to drive. Very peppy off the start. Gas mileage is much better of course. And the room I now have in the garage is amazing!

I plan to wash it tomorrow. Should take far less time to wash!

Okay, so new car; however, 2012 so it has been in the weather for many months so I can wax tomorrow, right?
I'll post picures tomorrow when I wash.

Congrats on the new Fiat!

We buffed one out for a Thursday night project car and Louie the owner let me take it for a spin and I really liked it. I'm thinking about buying one in the future and throwing it in the back of my truck and calling a spare.

Seriously, very cool cars and my fiancé Stacy and I do really like them and after a few models come out and the finalize where to place the cup holders we might buy one.

:)

Congratz on your new ride Reddwarf!! And good to see a member from the past posting again!!:xyxthumbs:

I imagine it would fit in the back of your truck! A tiny thing but still comfortable. Bigger than the Smart car!

Yes, cup holders are a problem. But, usually I am driving the car lone so not such a big deal. When my wife and I are together we take her car.

Welcome back ! Detail City (now autopiaforums) missed you as well.

Yes, paint is completely cured, dried and hardened and you can apply a wax, a paint sealant or a coating.

Don't wax your car for at least 30 days!

I'll post picures tomorrow when I wash.

Definitely like to see them... here's the Fiat we buffed out using CG products...
