I got this in the mail yesterday and decided to give it a shot. It work great behind the little space in between my rims and brakes. Also worked great for in between the spokes. Another great plus is that it is much stiffer then its bigger brother so it doesn't bend as easily when you apply allot of pressure. All in all it is a great tool

Would you say it is still soft enough to safely use on highly polished, un-coated aluminum wheels, without causing any swirls/scratches?

Edit: I just realized you weren't referring too the "bristles" being stiffer.

Just ordered the pair from the VIP special.

I was planning on getting the Race Glaze XL and the Swiss style brush so I hope I am not disappointed with the Daytona set. Race Glaze brushes would be a nice addition the AG inventory.

With all the hype about the RG brush I bought one and it's now sitting on the shelf collecting dust. You will be happy with the dual Daytona bushes. It will handle any wheel. And yes they still splatter.

What didn't you like about RG XL?

That is a good reason to put it away. That is a shame. You hate to spend your money on a product that is supposed to be among the best available only to find out it is not what you thought it was going to be. Thanks for sharing your experience and I feel better about my purchase of the Daytona set.
