Dave, here, from Milford CT.
I've always enjoyed looking at a well-maintained car, regardless of age or make, whether it's at an auto show or a strip mall parking lot. Over the last few weeks, I've been reading great forum posts here, and watching a lot of vids, and finally registered.
Now that I'm retired (which, I guess, makes me a Senior Junior Member?), I'm looking forward to learning how to make my own car look its best. (My wife wants her car worked up, too, but says she'll wait to see how mine turns out, first. Can't say that I blame her...)
I've already learned a LOT from this forum, even before registering, so, let me start by saying 'Thanks!'. There is a real wealth of talent here, to be sure! But now that I'm ready to start working on my own car, I look forward to help deciding which equipment and products to buy, and to recommendations on techniques. AGO is a great place to start!

P.S. Not only am I just starting out in detailing, I'm very new to forums, threads, etc, so let me get an "I'm sorry" out there, ahead of time, for whatever happens down the road (because I just KNOW that something is gonna happen...)
