Hello,
My name is Jethro but normally go by Jet
New to the forum, well sorta. I have been lurking the boards since July/August of 2012.
Just want to say how great this forum has been and that i have learned alot about the detailing world and i wish i learned about this stuff along time ago
Before this forum i have been washing and detailing my car the wrong way. Using the same bucket for paint/rims, dirty applicators for applying wax, dropping the clay bar and still using and just needing it to continue using it. Luckily my old methods didnt not damage my paint to much.
Normally i really hated trying to detail the car and applying wax. It was a chore that i usually didnt like to do often and normally paid someone to do it. But i entered a few car shows with my S2000 and started to prep my car for those shows and it came out pretty decent.
Around July/August while being bored at work and looking for stuff that was not OTC i came across this website. After watching some youtube vids, and reading a few threads i finally thought up a method of attack for detailing my car and placed my first order at AG.
My first 2 correct details on my car and my girlfriends car were done by hand, spent over 7 hours washing, claying, polishing, waxing for each car. It was the hardest work ive ever done, but when all was said and done i was really satisfied with the finished look. But thats when i also realized that i wanted more and decided on buying a DA polisher.
So 3-4 orders later and here i am with a lot of products a griot garage 6" and 3" polisher, a passion for detailing and the mindset of starting a side business with a possibility of making this a full time career. :dblthumb2:
