Hello AutoGeek.net, I'm the newest member, came here looking for some great advice! I enjoy detailing, and although i'm a novice, I want to learn more about products and techniques to better my results. I currently use mostly Adam's products, but I'm looking to broaden my horizons and try whatever works best at a price I can live with.

I did receive a package today with some "new to me" products that I'm excited to try

Some pictures to liven up the thread here, I did a minor correction on my mom's RX330 the other day, using the 7424 PC and some Adams polishes, finished off with Adam's Americana:

This is my baby 2004 GMC Sierra 9" of lift on 37x13.50x20 Toyo MT's. I corrected this about a year ago and I'm starting to see swirls again, so it's about time to dig in again! My issue is though that Adam's only provides swirl removers at this time, and due to some more serious paint issues, i'd like to move into a compound.. I currently have Meg's Ultimate Compound, and I had heard alot about Meg's 105/101 compounds to take out deeper imperfections, from there i could dive into my Adam's polishes. Does anyone recommend or have experience with Meguiars 105/101/ Ultimate compounds?

i've been reading about the Wolfgang twins, and I'm interested in them, but I am wondering if the Wolfgang swirl remover 3.0 is heavy enough for the type of cutting i need.

Also, I really want to order some CCS pads for my Flex, the adams pads i have are 6.5" i believe what Colors/sizes should I be buying in a 6 pack to do a full correction, Compound>Sever swirls> swirls> fine polish> sealants> glaze.

Thanks for having me!

that was a helpful chart. I guess now i have to choose between Gray/Blue/Red finishing pads.. It seems like Gray/Blue are good all around pads for applying wax/sealant/glazes.

LOL I need help myself! Just starting out. Got all the tools just haven't had time to really play yet.

Welcome to the forum. I'm in Edmond as well and picked up the WG duo kit a short while ago but have yet to use it on paint.

Hey! Awesome, I'm interested in the twins myself, nice to see another Edmondite on the forum!

:welcome: to Autogeek. I like your mirrors and aftermarket headlights. They sure do add to the beauty of the truck.

Thanks! The mirrors are just 3/4 ton mirrors I had painted, and the headlights are actually from a Yukon Denali, and I retrofitted them with Morimoto Projectors for my HIDs

Welcome!

You've come to the right place...

don't I know you from somewhere :D
