interesting......does this have any differnt properties than clay used on paint?

Howard

Does that mean that it's harder? Or does it have a more aggressive agrigate?

open pocket.... remove wallet.... for something useless.... Griot's will do anything to rip off the Ferrari crowd

Lol, yup. $13 for 100 grams of glass clay isn't a bad price, though.

It's just a harder clay...won't scratch glass, but would probably scratch paint like other aggressive clays.

Used GG clay before DP Glass Restore product on 2005 XLR. It did a good job of getting glass smooth and clean for prep to DP. Has more bite than DP clay. Followed glass restoration with DP Crystal Vision and Aquapel treatment. Did not drive into the Sun yet but hope to see big improvement with small pits not usually seenn without direct sunligt. The windshield is much smoother and polished than before.
I feel I got my money's worth as I used about 20 percent of clay and very little DP restore product.

Very cool but any clay I've tried doesn't seem to help with the little pits or whatever that can only be seen in direct sunlight.

Polish with a 4" cutting pad works well for that, blends down most pits, worked for me.

I've tried that. I even have the LC Glass Polishing Pads and LC Glass Cutting Pads and they don't do much.

But come to think of it, I don't think I've tried it with a real polish that works on glass. I think I've only tried it with 1Z Einszett Glas Polish and Zaino Z-AIO. Maybe I should try it with Poli-Seal or a Poorboy's SSR since those are safe to polish glass.
