Hi guys,

Greetings from Australia.

Back when I was still living in a house, I wash my car about once every 2-3 weeks. Once every year I will do a more comprehensive detail (1 pass of paint correction). However, since I've moved to an apartment with no wash-bay, I can no longer handwash my car or maintain the same level of car-care myself. Instead, I now spend my extra change at a self-service pressure wash. If I feel a bit richer, I'll spend some cash on quality car-wash.

My current is a 2016 Peugeot 208GTI 30th Edition (Only handful few came to Australia). It's a two-tone paint, with matte textured black and standard red paint (don't know the paint codes). Sorry for the bad quality photos, any idea where I can upload better quality photos?

Hi guys,

Greetings from Australia.

Hi Edwin,

Welcome to AutogeekOnline!

Interesting looking car you have there...

You get a free gallery with your account here on AGO. If you don't resize your photos to make the file size smaller then you can only upload a few at a time.

If you resize your photos to 800 pixels wide like I do then you can upload as many photos as you like at one time. What most people don't get in life and in the forum world is there is no free lunch. HUGE files take up space on a server somewhere that someone (Autogeek) has to pay for. So we limit the file size to be a good steward of our resources.

The good news is if you upload your pictures to your free gallery here they won't disappear. If you use Photobucket like so many people do - eventually your pictures disappear making anything you did with them a complete waste of time.

Here's your picture. I

  1. Cropped out the fluff
  2. Resized to 800 pixels wide
  3. Uploaded to your free gallery here --> edwinlie
  4. Snagged the URL address for the pictures
  5. Inserted using the tags
    [/LIST]

Note I taught myself how to do all of this stuff.

I've spend a lot of my time and company time trying to help people figure out how to work with pictures in the forum world but to be honest - most people are too lazy to figure it out. I did it and if I can do it anyone can do if they just invest some time reading and thinking.

I've actually written more articles on how to work with photos than detailer or detailing instructor I know, heck more than anyone in or our of the car detailing world that I know of...

How to resize your photos with Easy Thumbnails - Free software

How to upload a photo into your Autogeek Photo Gallery

How to insert an image from your photo gallery into your message

How to use Image Tags to insert a photo

How to create dedicated albums in your photo gallery...

Editor view of BB code behind multiple pictures

Knowing how to work with pictures in the blogosphere is a "skill" that can make you money.

Welcome to AGO - looking forward to your future posts...

    :)
