Hello everyone My name is Jay and I am from St. Marys, ontario, Canada, which is just ouside of London ontario. I have been lurking on this forum for a while now and finally decided that I should just register as I have lots of question that need to be answe3red. I look forward to hearing from you and getting all of your great advise from all the expertise that is on here.
You may laugh, but I have a 2008 Nissan Quest (minivan) and it is Silver Mist in colour, and I happen to just love the colour, but I am sure it hasn't been wax every, the paint is in pretty good condition, but is going to need some TLC. I just yesterday was finally able to find someplace here in Canada, which is actually about 20 minutes from where I live to be able to buy a Meguiars G110 V.2. As the PC 7424xp at Canadian Tire is $229!! Outrageous!!! And for now I am going to be using the Mother's brand of supplies, starting with a wash, clay bar, cleaner wax, FX Synwax Liquid and then FX Synwax spray wax for a finisher. Hopefully some of you can chime in on what you think of the mothers FX line, as on some other forums they get great reviews. I originally bought, before reading anything, Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax and the Liquid version and returned the liquid wax and bought the FX Synwax, mainly because lots of people were saying that it is much better quality and better for light coloured cars. I did use the Spray Wax and the van looked not too bad, but from what I am told if I go through the proper steps it will be 100% better!
