Ok well I guess to start out I'll tell y'all a little about me...
I go by Frenchie and I have always been really active around different car scenes but one that I keep coming back to was Jeeps. Anyways, I have been unemployed for over a year now and I was in banking before that. I left my job at a bank, got sober, and now I have been on the lookout for a little over a year. I have been doing yardwork, landscaping, and tree work to make ends meet. Recently I started washing cars of existing clients who always told me how clean my Jeep was for how much I go offroading. Anyways I am new to the detailing world and I have not really learned much if any of the tricks of the trade. I have always used good old elbow grease to get my waxing and polishing done. Have recently bought a cheap 10" random orbital polisher and have been impressed so far of what even a cheap unit can do. Looking to invest in the near future in something nicer, probably a porter cable.
Anyways, I had some requests to make some business cards for my clients to give out to their friends and business has picked up pretty good for something I was not expecting. I really enjoy doing this type of work and have always worked on cars for sidework from installing stereos, to welding, to whatever needs done. I am here to learn some of the more proper techniques to detailing to step my business up some and give the best work I am capable of. Here's a couple of pics of my Jeep...
And here is what it looks like after a weekend of rock crawling in the pouring down rain in the hills of Alabama...(a common look for my Jeep)
