First question: why do they even make any other brand of car than a BMW? OK - I love my '01 530 sport ... and I'm just kidding. But don't knock 'em till you tried 'em. In '01 this car was voted the best car ever in an AOL poll!
Been doing my own detailing; came here to learn more. Also, my first tip: I use the Mr Clean "magic eraser sponge" on alotta things (wet), but it works great to use it on black trim (especially textured), as it is especially good at removing old wax from people who don't know better, then the preferred protectant.

First off, welcome to AGO Dave! They make the BMW simply because everyone cannot afford a Porsche! :) You will learn much from the detailing Yodas on here...present company excluded.
