Hello all! My name is Travis and I live in West Virginia.
I have always had a fondness for detailing cars, wether they were mine or families. This passion has led me to a fairly new side business.
July 1st of this year, I launched Rewarding Reflections, my very own mobile detailing business. I mainly did this to test the waters and see how good it will go. Well... I outdid my projected numbers by almost triple and things took off. Word of mouth and my passion and dedication to customer satisfaction has elevated my business farther than I was predicting for this year. Because of this success, I am now taking the steps necessary to go legit, filing as an LLC, as well as getting insured. I am also building a better relationship with my vendors as well as local businesses that have shown interest in my trade.
Here is a blurb from my "About Me" section on my website that will give you a better background of me:
I have always had a love for cars and a fondness of detailing them. This fondness went to a whole new level in 2007 when I received my first Camaro. That car was my first true "show" car for lack of better words. Yes, it was a V6 and yes, it was a base Camaro, but that car would outshine any other car in the area. I put long hours into getting that car detailed before shows and would often receive comments about how amazing it looked for being a daily driven car.
In 2009, I sold that Camaro in order to buy my father's Camaro. His was a Z28 and was my favorite color... black. Detailing a black car is, in my opinion, one of the toughest colors to do because the black will show any flaw. Over the years that I had that car, I learned a great deal about detailing from techniques to products. Every time I would detail that car, I would try to outdo myself and push myself to make it even better. I guess in a way, that car was my spring board into my passion for detailing. It was so rewarding to see the results of all that hard work.
I continued detailing friends' and families' vehicles through the years, all the while learning as much as I could about the process and the industry. In the spring of 2013, I started toying with the idea of detailing on the side. By July of 2013 I was up and running with a complete business plan, price list, and clients eagerly waiting to get their rides detailed. I decided to name my business Rewarding Reflections because of how rewarding it is for me to see the finished results of each detail I do. This isn't just a job for me, it truly is a passion!
I am looking forward to building my business with your help, ideas, and knowledge! Thanks for having me!!
