Hello all. As the title states i would like to seal my new hub caps my boss gave me. My car is a silver 2001 Honda Accord and the hub caps are silver pretty much to match. Now before i put them on my vehicle i did clean them and applied a coat of BF Wet diamond Seal. Not sure how long this product will last on plastic that sees heating cycles but the hub caps look great and they are slick as glass. I was thinking about grabbing BF Crystal seal specifically for my hubs for better long lasting protection but also will look good. Im open for any suggestion. Thanks in advance

IMO Blackfire Metal Sealant would be a better sealant for wheels as it can take the high heat. I apply every six months and it keeps me from using harsh wheel cleaners.

The Bf metal Sealant won't have a problem sticking to plastic?

Collinite 845 will work just as well as any dedicated rim sealant! Goodluck
I do have collinite 915

If its actual hubcaps and not wheels....like I am assuming....then whatever good sealant you have on hand will be fine. You may need to reapply every few months or so.

Yes actual plastic hub caps not rims. Then i should be ok with Bf wet diamond seal or crystal seal if I choose to upgrade the seals for the wheels

The Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection and Blackfire Crystal Seal Paint Sealant will work just fine on your painted plastic hub caps.

Crystal Seal is nice for ease of use on wheels/hubs. Just applied it myself a couple weeks ago. You'll also love it on your paint! The collinites are great too.

Thanks everyone. I ordered crystal seal for peace of mind. No thread is complete without pics

As they sit for now with BF wet Diamond seal

Hydro2 or Hydro2lite works great and it is just too easy to apply. Spray on and rinse off. Lasts 3-4 months.
