View attachment 65765I dropped approximately 55# of rotating mass by installing these new lightweight wheels. While I had the car off the ground, I coated the wheels, calipers, and inner fender liners with Carpro DLUX. Next up is adding a layer of rubber to the front fender liners at the dragstraip. :awesome:

55lbs!? That's a pretty significant reduction in mass; about 13lbs per corner!
Did you go with a smaller wheel or did you keep the OEM size and simply get better/lighter wheels? Were the tires any lighter?
A couple of years ago, invested in a set of summer wheels/tires and all-in they were about 3~4 lbs less per corner. Even with that small reduction, I could feel the difference in the handling. The bad thing about the upgrade is I now finding myself looking at tire weight to keep from loosing the weight savings when it comes time for new tires.
