Just wanted to introduce myself. I recently bought a new car (my first car as I've always driven 4x4 trucks and SUVs) and my first black vehicle. I've come to appreciate the work it takes to keep her clean. My trucks always looked at home with mud on them.
In the few weeks since I bought her I've purchased a nice supply of CG products as well as PC buffer. I'm too worried as of now to try to take out the swirl marks the dealer gave me. I'm going to practice on my work vehicle and get the technique down and then go for it.
I appreciate all the info provided in these forums. I've learned a lot in a few weeks considering I used to was my trucks with Dawn dish soap using a old dirty wash mitt and drying with bath towels.

Few bad cell phone pics of the new car

Black is not a color, it's a part time job. Proper washing technique is going to be key to keeping the car looking good, especially after you get the paint straightened out. You've come to the right place, there are pros and hobbyists that are a wealth on information and really nice people. The stuff sold here is not the cheapest but well worth the investment.

Congrats on the new car and welcome.
